Appaloosa Sunset

“Appaloosa Sunset”

            I love this painting because of its interesting spots and peaceful background.  Note that there are no spots that have not been painted.  This technique is helpful because it brings life to the painting and makes it look real and natural.  The story behind this painting is that an Appaloosa horse is running through the mountains, the wind is stroking the horse’s mane, and the sun is setting slowly behind the mountains.
