Bombay Cat

“Bombay Cat”

            This cat is called a Bombay.  Bombays are usually black.  They are sneaky, beautiful, and look like they have come out of the jungle like a wild cat.  I have a cat that is pure black but with a tiny speck of white on her neck.  Her name is Panther and she is similar to the cat in my painting.  This painting is a combination of Panther’s features and a photo of a Bombay cat.  You are probably wondering why this cat looks blue.  I used the color that is a substance of black, Payne’s Gray. I always use Payne’s Gray for the pupils of  eyes.  Payne’s Gray is a very dark blue.  Payne’s Gray is what makes this cat look so unusual.
