Christmas Addition

“Christmas Paint Pony”

            When I was younger, we had a special paint pony named Gypsy.  She passed away a few years ago at the age of 43.  She was very pretty and a great friend.  She was my first horse.  My brother and I were still able to ride her up until a few weeks before she died.  She was my mother’s special friend from her childhood; and had been with our family for a very long time.  This pony reminds me of Gypsy and all of the wonderful times we had together.  Also, I was inspired to paint two red cardinals in this painting because of the beautiful cardinals that visited me at our house in Arizona last Christmas Day.  I included the bunny for my cousin, Jessica, who loves rabbits and collects bunnies.
