Spring Frog

“Spring  Frog”

            Last spring, I was watching closely a frog captured in a jar.  It looked so amazing and beautiful, it inspired me to want to paint a frog.  It was red and so unusual looking.  I took a picture of it and released it.  I looked in a book and saw a picture of a cute tree frog and decided to paint it.  I love the painting of this frog because it looks like the frog is happy and smiling.  I also love the tulips in the spring that bloom in the Mt. Vernon fields.
